After achieving success performing in clubs and restaurants around London, Jonathan relocated to Torquay in 1983 to gain experience in a holiday setting. Following a performance on a local radio station, he landed his first summer season in Morocco in 1984. He returned later that year to perform in clubs, hotels, and holiday centers like Pontins and Haven, enjoying even greater success with songs from artists as Neil Diamond, Barry Manilow, and Johnnyis, leading to numerous requests for his return.

After 17 years of traveling across the UK and abroad, Jonathan was invited by Warner Holidays to serve as Host and Compere at their Premier Hotel, Nidd Hall, near Harrogate, where he worked alongside many top stars. He later moved to another Warners Hotel, Gunton Hall, near Lowestoft, to continue his role.

In April 2000, Jonathan became the Cruise Director on Fred Olsen MS Black Watch, enjoying two wonderful years cruising to destinations like Scandinavia, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, South America, and Africa. In early May 2002, he returned to Torbay to spend more time with his family and pursue his passion for performing once again. Currently, Jonathan performs in hotels, clubs, holiday parks, and theaters nationwide.
