Having achieved success performing in clubs and restaurants throughout London, Jonathan relocated to Torquay in 1983 to gain experience in the holiday entertainment industry. Following an appearance on a local radio station, he secured his first overseas summer season in Morocco in 1984.
Upon returning to the UK later that year, Jonathan performed in clubs, hotels, and holiday parks, including Pontins and Haven. His engaging stage presence and popular repertoire earned him great success and numerous invitations to return.
After 17 years of entertaining audiences across the UK and overseas, Jonathan was invited to join Warner Holidays as Host and Compère at their premier hotel, Nidd Hall, near Harrogate. There, he worked alongside many of the country's leading entertainers before moving to Gunton Hall, near Lowestoft, to continue in the same role.
In April 2000, Jonathan accepted the position of Cruise Director aboard the Fred. Olsen cruise ship MS Black Watch. During two memorable years at sea, he travelled extensively, visiting destinations throughout Scandinavia, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, South America, and Africa.
In May 2002, Jonathan returned to Torbay to spend more time with his family and to rekindle his passion for performing.
Today, he continues to entertain audiences across the country, appearing in hotels, clubs, holiday parks nationwide, delighting audiences with his professionalism, warmth, and outstanding vocal performances.
